Waitakere Outrigger Canoe Club is the only waka ama club in the West Auckland district and caters for people from all walks of life. The sport takes participants from the age of 5 years up to 107. There is no age limit in the sport. You can paddle in teams of 6, 12 or just on your own. Waitakere Outrigger Canoe Club is now one of the largest Junior and Senior clubs in Auckland. Come down to the local Te Atatu Boat club and give this amazing sport a go.
