Kaumātuatanga - The Needs and Wellbeing of Older Māori

The kaumātuatanga study was commissioned by Te Pou Matakana (TPM) with a view to work towards understanding what an ageing population means in the context of Whānau Ora approaches. The study was therefore designed to provide a snapshot of kaumātua needs and service use within the TPM commissioning area. The research was also designed to get an indication of what providers are currently offering to kaumātua within their rohe.

Kaiārahi Outcomes Report 2016/2017

Kaiārahi is a Whānau Ora navigator service that engages and supports whānau to develop a plan, set goals and achieve their intended outcomes. This report analyses data for each of the six TPM contracted regions across the North Island: Te Tai Tokerau, Tāmaki Makaurau, Hauraki-Waikato, Waiariki, Ikaroa-Rāwhiti, and Te Tai Hauāuru.

Te Pou Matakana Outcomes Roadmap

Te Pou Matakana achieves outcomes for whānau by commissioning three main programmes – Kaiārahi, Whānau Direct and Collective Impact.

The Te Pou Matakana Outcomes Roadmap is an operational document that outlines a set of practical steps that Te Pou Matakana can take to refine and improve its Outcomes Framework over time FY 16/17.

Māori descent Population Profile: Te Ika-a-Maui

The purpose of this research document is to provide Te Pou Matakana (TPM) and other interested organisations with current information on the Māori descent population that will be useful to have on hand to help inform decision making processes.

He Ara Hōu - Frameworks and practices of Māori Commissioning

This research document guides the approach to Māori commissioning by identifying existing Māori commissioning/funder agencies and how kaupapa Māori epistemology and Whānau Ora goals are represented in established Māori funding agencies.
