Henderson’s seasonal festival has been boosted this year by the return of the Christmas Parade made possible by Te Whānau o Waipareira.
Te Whānau o Waipareira CE, John Tamihere said it is a welcome relief for the businesses and community of Henderson.
“Bringing the Christmas spirit to our West Auckland whānau was a no brainer. It is tough going for everyone right now, this is our chance to celebrate the festive season together and bring some joy to the community – and it’s for our Tamariki. We feel privileged to be a part of something that has been missing on our calendars for too long”.
