Wai Tech Graduates 2023 - 2024

Congratulations to our nine Wai Tech graduates from the Class of 2023-2024 who achieved the Level Six New Zealand Diploma in Māori Health.

Five graduates from Tui Ora in Taranaki, three from Te Whānau o Waipareira and one student from Te Runanga o Te Whānau were celebrated at their Wai Tech graduation in West Auckland today.

The cohort were welcomed by a rousing haka and waiata before distinguished kaumātua and Wai Tech Board Director, Evelyn Taumaunu opened the formalities.

“What a great achievement through various struggles and normal mahi, yet you continued to persevere and it’s that tenacity that has made today possible. Thank you to our Taranaki cohort who have travelled here to receive this honour. I can’t say enough how proud we are that you have achieved the goal you set yourself last year”.
