Chinese Delegation Reinforce Relationships Amongst Te Whānau o Waipareira Hospitality
Te Whānau o Waipareira hosted a Chinese Business Delegation at Whānau House this morning strengthening their growing and mutally beneficial relationship.
Chief Executive John Tamihere acknowledged the honour of their visit.
“We are very humbled by your presence this morning and we are very grateful for the way you hosted us when we visited China”.
A whakatau was held with morning tea before the international visitors were welcomed onto Hoani Waititi Marae with a powhiri. They then enjoyed a traditional hangi before visiting Hospital Road for an extensive tour of the Te Whānau o Waipareira property development including the kaumātua housing site, and the neighbouring land earmarked for a Whānau Ora Wellness Centre. #WaiGlobal
