Whaea Manuao Graham celebrates 30 years with Waipareira

Today we celebrate Whaea Manuao Graham’s 30 year anniversary with Te Whānau o Waipareira!

Whaea Manu has served in a number of services over her time including tamariki ora, maternity support and women’s health, offering mobile visits and vaccination support to māmā and pepi and tamariki at kohanga.

In true Whaea Manu fashion, she wanted to keep today lowkey while going about her mahi greeting all our manuhiri and kaimahi at Whānau House. And over the years this is the dedication and humility she has carried so graciously.

Today she credits the love and support from her late husband, Ngaruhe Brown Graham, her 8 children, 17 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren for standing by her throughout the past 30 years.

Please join us in sharing your messages of congratulations to Whaea Manu as we celebrate her reaching this amazing milestone.

Here she is joined with her grand-daughter, Donna Graham, who is a Team Lead here at Waipareira reflecting on her journey and the legacy she has imparted to the next generation.

For the past 40 years, Waipareira have provided free services and support for whānau of all ages in West Auckland – health, legal, housing and education.
