Waipareira celebrates Te Wiki Tūao ā-Motu

Te Whānau o Waipareira celebrates Te Wiki Tūao ā-Motu– National Volunteer Week, which runs from June 18–24 2023.

Te Wiki Tūao ā-Motu is a week that honours the collective energies and mana of all volunteers in Aotearoa.

It is an opportunity to share the extraordinary efforts of volunteers who selflessly contribute their time and energy to create a positive impact in our communities.

At Waipareira, we are immensely grateful for our volunteers, who inspire us with their passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment.

This years's theme is "He wā pīataata – time to shine," and this week we are excited to shine a light on a few of our amazing volunteers.

Tūao Aotearoa Volunteering New Zealand leads this national event.
