Pae Rangi Indigenous Social Enterprise Forum

Pae Rangi the first Indigenous Social Enterprise Forum in Tāmaki Makaurau was recently hosted by our Whānau Ora Tāmaki collective lead, Te Pae Herenga o Tāmaki.

Set over two days, the opening event hosted a plethora of Māori and Pasifika speakers including Dame Valerie Adams, Dave Letele, Misty Rātima and The Casketeers.

The full-day forum following included keynote speakers, including our CEO, John Tamihere who spoke on "Disrupting the Status quo."

"We have to stand up and say to our young people they are special and will succeed. Whatever we do, we cannot lift ourselves in what we do unless we believe in ourselves."

Forum hosts Te Pae Herenga o Tāmaki plan to make this an annual event.
