After 17 years of service with Waipareira we bid a warm farewell to our beloved Kaimahi, Whaea Johanna Mahe.
Whaea Johanna has touched the lives of so many whānau and Kaimahi and will be remembered for her strong work ethic, funny wit and all the beautiful kai she has made over the years.
The farewell was a testament to her commitment and passion for whānau. Her colleagues shared how thankful they were to have had her share her wisdom with our frontline team, Kōrure Whānau.
Whaea Johanna's departure from Waipareira marks the end of an era, but her incredible legacy will continue to inspire us. We wish her happiness and success in the next chapter of her journey.
“To my roopu West One and my Leads - thank you for allowing me to do my work without having to go through red tape. One thing I want to say to all the new workers is that it’s not about working harder, it’s about working smarter. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
