Te Whānau o Waipareira is taking action to fight the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).
Our main priority is, and will always be, protecting the health and wellbeing of our community, our whānau and our kaimahi who serve them.
We will be continuing to monitor the latest COVID-19 developments and may be changing the way we deliver our group programmes and services based on the most up-to-date Ministry of Health guidance.
If you are engaging with any of our programmes, you may see some of our kaimahi wearing face masks for hygiene reasons and as a measure to keep everyone safe.
For home visits, we will ring ahead whenever possible and if home-visiting may implement ‘social distancing’ practices where appropriate. This is not to offend anyone but another safety measure for all.
Through our social media channels, we are providing information on COVID-19 and simple steps you can take to protect you and your family/whānau.
By standing against this virus together, we will overcome this uncertain time. Kia kaha tātou.
Noho ora mai.
