  We have a permanent full time vacancy within our Wai-Atamai unit for a  Strategy & Innovation Analyst, responsible for developing, coordinating and managing key projects, which support the effective implementation across Waipareira of new thinking, fresh approaches and implementation of innovative programmes.

Essential competencies:

·         In-depth understanding of Te Reo Maori me ona Tikanga and application to a Maori organisation and its workforce

·         Strong adult education knowledge

·         Strong understanding of Te Reo Maori

·         Excellent report writing skills

·         Experience working both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment is essential

·         Experience in creating agendas, minutes, correspondence, documentation, reports and presentations. 

·         Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources across the organisation.

·         Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.

Whānau Ora Nurse - Community Based Job Description - Whānau Ora Nurse

Working in our multidisciplinary team of professionals, you will be an engaging and confident communicator and decision maker with strong community health nursing competencies. You will have a high level of time management and organisational skills and will relish the opportunity to provide (and gain skills) in this area of work.

The successful applicant will have:

  • ·         A full NZ driver licence

    ·         Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate in accordance with Nursing Council of New Zealand

    ·         Minimum of 2 years post registration experience working with whānau in the community with Cardiac and Long term Conditions

    ·         Minimum 2 years' experience of referral management

    ·         Ability to work either independently or in a team environment

    ·         Competent in reporting accurate client information in a timely manner

Well Child Tamariki Ora Nurse Job Description - Tamariki Ora Nurse

We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled community focused nurse to work in our Well Child Tamariki Ora Nurse service.The purpose of the position is to offer a screening, surveillance, education and support service to tamariki and their whānau from birth to five years. It will assist families/whānau to improve and protect their children’s health.

Essential Competencies:

·         Registered Nurse with appropriate scope of practice

·         Experience working with tamariki and their whānau in the community

·         An understanding of community networks with respect to Well Child Tamariki Ora and their family/whānau in the community

·         An ability to deliver each of the three components of the Well Child/ Tamariki Ora National Schedule as described in the Well Child Tamariki Ora National Schedule Handbook (2002); Health Protection and Clinical Assessment; Health Education and Promotion; and Family or Whānau Care Support

·         Knowledge of applicable regulations governing clinical practice/legislative compliance

·         Excellent computer skills, and be familiar with all Microsoft applications

·         Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal

·         The ability to work under pressure in a busy and challenging environment

·         A full clean NZ Driver Licence
