Have A Go Waka Ama is the last collaborative event for 2007.  The women who participate will have heaps of fun and there will be races for the more competitive - and prizes.  Each participant will receive a sling bag of goodies.  It's bound to be lots of laughs so bring your tuahine, whaea and kuia for a special whanau day out on Saturday 8 December.  Check out the healthy kai stalls, entertainment and supervised play area for tamariki.  It's an auahi kore, smokefree and sunsmart event.  It is supported by Te Whanau O Waipareira trust and many others who want to encourage regular breast checks and cervical smears to Maori and Pacific women.
